you eithe rlike VT or UT...or if you like the SEC you side with UT, or if you hate UT/VT you side with the other
winning a poll on the lpd sports forum doesn't mean either program is better
if anyone thinks UT is in better shape than VT then you're only kidding yourself

ill agree with that, though I'd add that the directions the programs are going seem to be opposites at this point

Overall history UT is the better program. The past 10 years VT is better.

um yeah we arent polling everyone in the world, we are seeing what the people here think.

you can fight it all you want, but look at the last two recruiting classes and tell me which program is in better shape.
it depends on who the next UT coach is, but if its a big name, UT will still be the better program
What does the last 2 recruiting classes have to do with it. According to recruiting rankings UT had higher rated classes than VT on the field on New Years Eve, what did that get UT? Over the past 5-6 years VT had 1 class rated higher than UT.

well, to me, a team that has higher, better rated recruits is a sign of a program that kids want to play for, a program that is still elite even though the on the field hasnt been as successful.
VT fans bragging about beating a 7-6 UT team that was down to walk on LB's is not a sign of being a better program....
